Biography
I am a third year PhD student in WELS. I completed a psychology degree with the Open University and a MSc at Sussex. My master's research forms the foundation of a training protocol to treat anxiety in autistic people. I found the research aspect of my degree and MSc fascinating so was delighted to be given the opportunity to work with Kieron Sheehy and join the Rumpus research group, first as a research assistant and then as a PhD student. My PhD focuses on the experiences of young people with SEND. I have now had experience of education from the 'other side' and have written course material for the OU, as well as working in further education. Outside of academia I enjoy music, good friends, and my two children.
