Professional biography
Chengruizhi Ma is Lecturer in Accounting at Department of Accounting and Finance of the Open University. Prior to this, he held teaching assistant positions at the University of Bradford and University of Hull. He graduated with an MSc in Law and Accounting from London School of Economics and Political Science, he also has experience of working in audit, tax, employment law and insolvency law areas.
Research interests
Chengruizhi's research interests include International Financial Reporting Standards 9 [IFRS 9], voluntary disclosure, auditor function, corporate governance, business law and sustainability reporting.
Teaching interests
Chengruizhi's teaching interests relate to financial accounting, business Law, auditing and taxation. Currently, he is part of the B251 'Law for accountants' and B351 'Audit and Governance' module teams.
