Ms Clare Keegan

I started working at The Open University in November 2023. I've previously worked in two other institutions, University of Staffordshire and Harper Adams University near Telford and the Shropshire border.

All of my roles have been related to Bid Development and Knowledge Exchange with external organisations, and included roles related to innovation, Investment Readiness, Knowledge Transfer Partnerships and working with industry around specific skills to drive the creation of new Degree Apprenticeships. 

My roles have directly impacted on the Universities results in the Knowledge Exchange Framework (KEF), the Higher Education Innovation Fund (HEIF) and HEBCI-Survey as a means to generate income for the University through external engagement with industry and the third sector. 

More recently my role is more commercial, looking at how to best work with others to create markets for Intellectual Property, Innovation and ideas that come from a range of professional and academic staff at The Open University. If you want to know more please contact me.
