Biography
After completing an Mmath at the University of Edinburgh. I am currently a PhD student in the history of mathematics with Dr. Brigitte Stenhouse as my supervisor. My current research looks at the mathematical communities around female students at the Cambridge colleges of Girton and Newnham between 1873 and 1890.
My masters thesis, supervised by Professor Chris Sangwin, explored the development of analytic geometry in the seventeenth century through a book called The Organica. This was written by the Dutch mathematician Frans van Schooten Jnr. who was contemporary with Descartes.
I am also an editor for Chalkdust magazine and have written several articles for the publication.
