Dr Emilia Misheva

Dr Emilia Misheva is an associate lecturer in psychology. She practices in a London local authority, where she is the Senior Specialist Psychologist for Cognition and Learning and Paediatric Neuropsychology Lead. Her research interests include autism, specifically the internalised presentation of autism; paediatric neuropsychology - particularly the long-term educational needs of young people who have experienced paediatric strokes and brain tumours, as well as Down's Syndrome. She is a chartered member and associate fellow of the British Psychological Society.

Her first book, Child Neuropsychology in Practice, was published by Palgrave in 2021 and her second book, Under the Radar: An Essential Guide to Autism and Girls, was published by Jessica Kingsley Publishers in 2024.
