Professional biography
Head of Research & Enterprise at the Open University (OU), I manage the team in the endevours to provide excellent support to OU academics in external income generation, delivery of high impact research, Knowledge Exchange (KE) and commercialisation of OU research.
I lead on development and delivery of the OU's KE strategy and am responsible for the 'improving our processes' of the OU's Research Strategy.
I have significant experience of EU funding starting as a Project Manager in a Research Infrastructure project (SYNTHESYS) at the Natural History Museum, London before moving into more overarching EU research support, including two years with the European Research Development Team at the University of York.
I joined the Research and Enterprise team of the Open University in 2014.

The funding from the STFC IAA is being used to strategically focus on translating our space research, developing new opportunities and providing support to foster entrepreneurialism among our researchers and academics.
