Biography
I lead the strategic development of the Open University Library's Student and Academic Services team, supporting student retention and progression.
In a previous role I led the Live Engagement team in the OU Library; a specialist team of librarians who design and deliver live online teaching sessions via Adobe Connect and social media. In 2019 we won The Information Literacy Award for outstanding UK-based team, and received an OU Teaching Award for 'Excellence in Developing Students' Academic and Learning Skills'.
I am a Chartered librarian, Auroran, and Fellow of the Higher Education Academy with over 20 years experience of working in a Higher Education library. I have presented and published on delivering library services and resources to distance learners.
