Biography
I joined the Open University’s School of Engineering and Innovation (E&I) as a Doctoral Research Student in 2024. My research explores how the integration of Generative Artificial Intelligence impacts students' learning of the design process, particularly how it shapes their engagement with experiential approaches that support deeper learning and the development of design expertise.
Industry Experience
I am an experienced product designer with a career that began in 2015, working across industrial design, manufacturing, and interior visualisation. My work also involved the protection of intellectual property, including the registration of a UK trademark and the securing of design rights for products.
My academic background includes a BSc in Design and Innovation (Engineering Pathway) from the Open University and an MSc in Product Design from the University of Dundee.
