Mrs Jo Jones

I am a Staff Tutor and Tuition Delivery Lead in Health, Wellbeing and Social Care. I work across the school to ensure that, operationally and strategically, tuition strategies are successfully implemented and I work on module K220 - Death, Dying and Bereavement as a Lead Cluster Manager.

Having completed MA in Online and Distance Education with The Open University I have a real interest in tuition by having a stategic perspective within my tuition delivery lead role but also by aiming to improve student engagement, accessibility and employability skills through scholarship.

I volunteer as a Breastfeeding Helper with The Breastfeeding Network outside of The Open University and so I am keen to use this experience to develop some scholarship around breastfeeding and the impacts it might have on work and study. Early motherhood can often be an isolating experience, particuarly if trying to keep up a career or study at the same time so I am keen to support this group with tuition support that recognises these challenges and supports a flexible approach.
