Biography
I am a Chartered Electrical Engineer, specialising in electronic circuit design. Following a long career in industry as an electronics design engineer, I began a second career as an educator, lecturing in engineering at FE and HE level at colleges and tutoring on undergraduate courses at The Open University. I hold qualified teacher status (QTLS).

- Electronic circuit design, with particular focus on analogue electronics
- Education – teaching & learning
- Radio communication – Licensed ‘ham’; and radio experimenter since my teens.
