Professional biography
Lina (she/her) is a skilled Higher Education professional with extensive experience in Higher Education management and coordination, Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) advocacy, and tuition delivery management.
As Staff Tutor for Health and Social Care, Lina ensures the quality of teaching provision in Health and Social Care module delivery, module production and assessment.
As Faculty Coordinator, Lina collaborates with Health and Social Care Trusts across Scotland and Northern Ireland, leads student-focused events, and manages one of the largest UK-wide module clusters.
As an EDI Champion and Accessibility Advocate, Lina leads initiatives to embed inclusivity across the School of Health, Wellbeing and Social Care (HWSC). Lina's contributions include founding the EDIA Community of Practice, developing the HWSC EDIA Hub, organising successful APP-funded seminar series, and delivering education sessions on EDI and accessibility topics.
