Research interests:
I specialise in cosmochemistry and astrobiology and have a particular interest in the volatile element chemistry of geological samples from the Moon, Mars, and asteroids, along with the resultant implications for habitability and the origin of life in the Solar System.
I have been awarded a PhD studentship funded by the UK Space Agency to investigate the ancient habitability and geological history of Mars by analysing martian meteorites using the high-precision laser fluorination system in the Oxygen Isotope Laboratory at The Open University.
