Biography
I am a third-year PhD student researching Lunar Magmatic Volatiles. I measure hydrogen and chlorine isotopic compositions in the lunar samples using NanoSIMS to understand the influence of these volatile species on the Moon's volatile budget.
Previously, as a part of my master's research project, I have worked on "Petrographic, Mineral Chemical and Geochemical investigations of gabbros from Naga Hills Ophiolite Belt".
As part of the Delhi University Innovation Programme, I also conducted socio-economic and environmental research during my undergraduate studies to understand the impact of psychological factors on religious waste management in India.
Besides these, I actively take part in Outreach and Public Engagement at OU. For two years now, I have run a semi-inter-school Lego competition in MK, targeting the schools based on EDI to promote and encourage young generations towards STEM and Space Science in general. I also help in organising the annual public engagement event, Moon Night.
