Biography
Professional biography
I am an Open University graduate (BSc and MEd) and I have been an OU tutor since 1999. I worked as a technical consultant and project manager for IT companies developing and selling EPOS equipment to UK retailers. I then moved to work in widening participation with agencies such as Partnerships 4 Progression and Aimhigher. I spent some time as an elearning specialist with Sussex Learning Network before joining the OU as an Educational Advisor where I specialised in working with students and staff in prison. I am currently the module chair of TM111 - Introduction to Computing and Information Technology I
My academic interests include teaching & learning at a distance, and how to best support teaching staff
