Biography
I am a passionate researcher bridging the gap between environmental science and data-driven solutions to tackle today’s most pressing challenges, including climate change, urban resilience, and ecological sustainability. With a PhD in Earth, Environment, and Ecosystem Sciences, a Master's in RS and GIS, and a background in civil engineering, I bring a unique combination of analytical rigour, technical skills, and a problem-solving mindset.
I investigate the impacts of climate extremes using satellite data, field experiments, and advanced statistical methods. I also develop predictive models leveraging machine learning and time-series analysis to assess environmental stressors on natural systems. I translate complex datasets into actionable insights for urban planning, conservation, and sustainability efforts.
My Expertise Includes Climate data analysis, ecological modelling, geo-spatial AI, advanced statistical techniques, and programming expertise in R.
I am deeply committed to sustainability education and outreach. I’ve facilitated workshops like "How Bad Are Bananas?" to engage communities in understanding carbon footprints and environmental impact. As an active member of the OU Sustainability Team, I’ve contributed to initiatives that empower others to make informed choices for a greener future.
I am proficient in remote sensing, GIS, and machine learning for ecological and environmental applications. I am experienced in designing and executing field and lab experiments to monitor plant physiology. I am also a skilled communicator who translates research into practical recommendations for policymakers and stakeholders.
