Mr Rocky Grove

My "proper" name is Peter Grove, but nearly everyone calls me Rocky.

Currently, I tutor E103 (Learning and teaching in the primary years), E209 (Developing subject knowledge for the primary years) in the WELS Faculty and also TM111 (Introduction to computing and information technology) and Tg089 (Digital Photography) in STEM.

I moderate several national students' module forums and am also the moderator of the ALCR, the tutors' forum.

I am a member of Senate and also serve on the Early Years, Childhood, Youth and Sports Board of Studies.

For 35 years until I took early retirement, I taught in a primary school where I was in charge of Maths and IT. I am a regional trainer for a national charity and Joint Chair of Warwickshire S.A.C.R.E.

I own a Dell Desktop, a Surface Pro (which is brilliant for travelling), a Samsung Galaxy Android Smartphone and a Kindle.

For relaxation, I used to be a scuba diver and enjoy travelling to distant lands. I am a member of the Bahá'í Faith.

One piece of trivia is that I have provided support for OU students from Antarctica.
