Biography
Professional Biography
I am currently a PhD candidate at The Open University. My PhD project focuses on whether prison education is fit for the purpose of gaining employment on release. Prior to this, I completed a BSc Honours in Social Science with Social Policy also at The Open University.
Teaching
I began my teaching career working in prisons, teaching employability, and personal and social studies. I then taught in Further Education, focusing on sociology and criminology. Since 2019, I have been an Associate Lecturer at the Open University, teaching criminology and social sciences.
