Research interests
My research interests include Palaeoceanography & Palaeoclimate with particular focus on understanding past monsoon rainfall during warm climate periods.
I am currently working on reconstructing past Indian monsoon dynamics using marine sediments from Bay of Bengal in response to Plio-Pleistocene climate changes. I am applying multi-sites and multi-proxy approach to understand how monsoon rainfall and wind evolved during mid to late Pliocene.
