Professional biography
I have an MA in Translation (The Open University, UK), an MA in Teaching French as a Foreign Language (Maîtrise de F-L-E, Université de Pau et des Pays de l’Adour, France), and a BA in English and French as a Foreign Language (Licence d’anglais mention F-L-E, Université de Pau et des Pays de l’Adour, France). I am also a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
I joined the OU in 2002 and I have acquired an extensive experience in authoring language teaching materials for distance learning, leading production teams and overseeing the delivery of modules with large student population. I also designed and led the production of a short course in Welsh Language and Culture that has been running since 2016. I currently work both in the French and Translation Studies teams.
